Will my cat fit? Is there a weight limit?

We don't publish a weight limit: we haven't tested one, and sellers of similar hoodies all quote different numbers. A larger hoodie size gives a roomier pouch, but your cat is the real test: if it can't sit comfortably with its head out, don't use it. Keep a hand under the pouch whenever you stand or move.

My cat won't let me work. Will this help?

If your cat likes being held, the pouch gives it a spot on your chest while you sit and type, read or watch with both hands free. When you stand up or move around, keep a hand under the pouch.

What if my cat won't go in?

That's normal at first. Leave the hoodie where your cat sleeps so it smells like home, then try again sitting down, with short sessions, and let your cat decide. Some cats need a few tries, and some simply prefer your lap.

What is the fabric like?

Does cat hair stick to it? How do I wash it?

Like any fleece, it can pick up some fur; a lint roller takes it off. Machine wash cold and hang to dry.

Will it be too warm?

It's a fuzzy fleece layer made for fall and winter. On hot days it will likely feel too warm.

Can men wear it?

Yes. It's a unisex relaxed fit in six sizes, from S to 3XL.

Can I wear it without a cat?

Yes. With the chest zip closed it's a cozy pullover hoodie: the round opening stays on the chest, and you still get a big front pocket and two zip side pockets.

Does it work for other small pets?

We've only shown it with cats and haven't tested it with other animals. If you try it with another small pet, the same rules apply: it has to sit comfortably with its head out, and you keep a hand under the pouch.

You can return it within 14 days of delivery if it's unused, in the condition you received it and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase; return shipping is at your cost. If it arrives damaged or defective, we replace it. Write to us through our Contact page with your order number.
