Lightly buff the shine off your nail with the 100/180 file.

Brush the dehydrator onto your nail.

Brush on the primer. Let it dry, about 2 minutes.

Put a pea-size drop on the back of the tip. A little goes a long way.

Press the tip on at a 45° angle.

Slide the nail under the mini lamp and the light comes on. Keep it there for one full light cycle, then do the next nail.

Want color? It’s optional.
Once your tips are set: base coat (7), then your own gel color, then top coat (8). Cure each layer under the lamp.

Is the lamp really free?
Yes. The mini UV/LED lamp and its USB cable come in the box with every kit. You pay $49.99 for the kit, lamp included. There’s nothing extra to add to your cart.
Is the mini lamp enough?
Yes, for setting each tip. The base reads NAIL IN LIGHT ON: slide one nail in and the light comes on. Keep the nail there for one full light cycle, then go to the next nail. In her video, the creator also gives her whole hand a final cure of at least 60 seconds under a bigger lamp. That bigger lamp is not part of this kit.
Which size do I pick?
Lay a tip on your nail before you glue it. It should cover your nail from sidewall to sidewall. If it touches your skin or pinches, try one size smaller. If you see your nail at the sides, try one size bigger. Size all ten nails before you start.
My nails are flat. Will these fit?
The maker designed these tips with a curve for flat and natural nail beds, and you get 16 sizes. A dry fit before gluing shows you the best match.
I’ve never done this. Is it hard?
The steps are simple: size, buff, dehydrate, prime, glue, press, cure. No drill needed: the file is in the box. Your first set takes the longest, so give yourself time.
How long will my nails last?
We don’t promise a number of days. It depends most on your prep and your nails. What helps: the right size, a light buff, dehydrator and primer, no air bubbles under the tip, and gloves for dishes.
Does it come with colors?
No. The tips are clear. Wear them clear, or add any gel color you like. Use the base coat under the color and the top coat over it.
How do I take them off?
Soak them off with acetone. Don’t pull or rip them off. That can hurt your natural nails.
How many sets can I do?
You use 10 tips per set, and there are 320 tips in 16 sizes. How many full sets you get depends on which sizes fit your nails.
Is it OK for sensitive skin?
We can’t promise that. Keep the gels and glue off your skin, wipe off any extra before you cure, and stop if you feel itching or irritation. The base coat and top coat are labeled HEMA-free (the maker says no HEMA or TPO is intentionally added). If you’ve reacted to nail gels before, ask a doctor before you use this kit.
How does the lamp get power?
