    Easy to use and kids love them

    These video walkie-talkies have been a huge hit with my 5- and 3-year-old grandkids. They have surprisingly good video and audio quality. They have good range and have no problem reaching anywhere across the house and yard. They are easy to use; turn on and off with a slide switch on the side and press the talk button to transmit. Just like walkie talkies from the past. The kids need no help to operate. Kids are kids and they often leave the power on till the batteries die, so good thing they recharge with a USB cord. Durability is great! So far they have survived a week of nonstop rough outdoor play. Sometimes mom keeps one to call them home. Works great for that too. —an absolute winner.

    Very cool and unique

    Very cool concept excecuted pretty well for a kid's toy […]. My kids figured them out in basically no time and love them. The range is decent, so not for communication. Great as a toy. The battery life is also decent and USB-C charging is a boon. They have survived two toddler boys since purchase. The video quality is fair. With good light it is solid resolution. The frame rate is a little low, but when you keep the lens of "toy" in mind, it is a very cool, very fun toy. My boys absolutely love them.

    This was the hit of my nieces birthday- then? The big hit at Christmas! The adults and the kids had so much fun! So simple to set up-the range was quite amazing! For a little kids toy!   • Range depends on the place: walls, floors and trees shorten it.
  • Each kit is one pair. A third walkie can’t join, and two kits don’t connect to each other.

Do they need Wi-Fi, an app or a phone?

No. The two walkies talk directly to each other by radio. No Wi-Fi network, app, account, SIM card or internet.

How do we set them up?

Charge them, slide both switches on and they connect by themselves. There’s no channel to pick. Hold the button on the side to talk and let go to listen; expect a short delay, like any walkie-talkie.

How far apart can they talk?

They’re made for house and yard play. Walls, floors and trees shorten the range, so test your spots before a big mission.

Can we add a third walkie, or use two kits together?

No. Each kit is a pair, linked at the factory: a walkie only talks to its partner from the same box. With 2 Kits you get two separate pairs, one for each pair of kids.

Can it call a phone or Grandma’s house?

No. The two walkies only talk to each other, within radio range: perfect for the porch and the swing set, not for across town.

Can other people see or hear my kids?

The walkies don’t connect to the internet, to phones or to other kits, and nothing is uploaded online. Each one links only to its partner walkie.

How long does the battery last, and how do we charge it?

Each walkie has a built-in rechargeable battery. Charge it with the USB-C cable from any USB charger or computer port (wall adapter not included). Slide the switch off after play: if it stays on, the battery keeps draining.

What age are they for?

Families in our reviews mostly mention kids from 3 to 8, and the buttons are simple enough for them to use alone. The missions are written for kids about 5 to 10.

Is the video HD?

No, and we’d rather tell you. It’s a 2-inch toy screen with a small camera: faces are clear enough to play, best in good light. As one owner put it: “when you keep the lens of ‘toy’ in mind, it is a very cool, very fun toy.”

Are they waterproof?

No. Keep them dry and bring them inside when it rains.

What if we lose one?

The two walkies are paired to each other, so a new single walkie can’t pair with the one you still have. The lanyards help keep them together.

How do we get the 24 missions?

It’s a free printable PDF that we write and send you after your order: 24 missions plus agent ID cards. Print it at home on regular paper; there’s no card deck in the box.

When will it arrive, and how much is shipping?

Orders usually leave our warehouse within 5 to 8 business days, and tracking appears on your order status page once it ships. Delivery time after that depends on your address and the carrier, so we can’t guarantee a date: for birthdays and the holidays, please order early. US shipping is free on every kit.

What if a walkie doesn’t work when we open it?

Message us with your order number and a short video of the problem, and we’ll replace defective walkies. Contact us.
