8:05 AM · PRESCHOOL DROP-OFF

A row of hooks. A row of look-alike bags.

At drop-off, little backpacks often look the same. If there’s a name at all, it’s on a tag inside, in marker, where nobody looks.

A preschool cloakroom with a row of hooks holding near-identical navy and gray kids' backpacks, an adult hand turning over a blank name tag
  • The wrong bag goes homewhen three of them look the same
  • The name hides on a taginside the bag, in fading marker
  • Nothing says “mine”it’s just another bag on a hook

SAME HOOKS · NEXT MORNING

Now theirs is the one with their name on it.

Soft corduroy with their name in chunky yarn letters, right across the front. They spot it, their teacher spots it, and nobody has to check a tag.

DELIVERY

Made to order, so give it a little time

  1. You orderwith the name and colors
  2. We make itwith that exact name
  3. It ships to youto your door in the US

About 2 to 4 weeks from your order to your door.

That’s our current estimate. It can take longer in November and December, so if it’s for a birthday or the holidays, order early.

We email you a tracking link when it ships.

Before you order

Is the whole bag knitted?

No. The bag is soft corduroy. Only the name is knitted: it’s made of knitted yarn cord, shaped into cursive letters on the front. So it’s a corduroy backpack with yarn letters.

How is the name attached?

The yarn letters are bonded to the front with hot-melt adhesive, not sewn. Small traces of adhesive may show at the letter edges. Heat and soaking weaken the bond, so the bag is spot clean only.

How many letters can the name have? Can I use a nickname?

1 to 8 English letters (A to Z). A nickname works too, as long as it’s letters only: no spaces, numbers, accents or emoji. We write it in cursive with a capital first letter, like the preview, and copy your spelling exactly.

Can I choose the color of the letters?

Yes: White, or Rainbow (multicolor letters; the yarn shades can vary slightly from the preview). You choose the bag color separately: Pink, Blue, Khaki or Green.

What if I make a typo?

Check the preview before you order: we copy your spelling exactly. The name also shows in your cart and at checkout. If you spot a mistake after ordering, email us right away with your order number. Once the bag is made, the name can’t be changed.

How big is it, and what age is it for?

11.8 in tall, 10.6 in wide and 5.5 in deep (30 x 27 x 14 cm); measurements can vary by up to about 1 in. It’s sized for preschoolers, about ages 3 to 5. A standard 9 x 12 in school folder is taller than the bag. Not for children under 3.

Can I wash it?

Spot clean only: wipe it with a damp cloth. No washing machine, no soaking, no dryer and no high heat (radiator, iron).

When will it arrive? Will it make it for Christmas or a birthday?

Each bag is made to order and then shipped: about 2 to 4 weeks in total to the US. It can take longer in November and December. We don’t promise a delivery date, so order early if it’s for a special day.

Can I order 2 or 3 bags with different names?

Yes. Choose 2 Bags or 3 Bags, and each bag gets its own name, bag color and letter color, numbered Bag 1, Bag 2 and Bag 3. Orders of 2 or more bags ship FREE in the US.

Can I send it straight to the child?

Yes. Enter their address as the shipping address at checkout. All the bags in one order ship to that one address.

Does it come gift-wrapped? Can I add a note?

Not yet. It arrives in a plain protective bag, with no gift box and no printed note. If it’s a gift, shipping it to yourself first lets you wrap it and add your own card.

Where does it ship from?

Each bag is made to order by our production partner in China and shipped to you in the US.

Can I return a personalized bag?

Each bag is made with the name you type, so please check the preview before ordering. If your bag arrives damaged or isn’t what you ordered, email us a photo and your order number.
