Will it really look like my family?

We redraw from your own photo and work to keep every face, hairstyle and outfit as it is. Sharp photos with large faces work best. We email you a preview before anything is printed.

What photo works best? Can I use an old photo?

Faces large and in focus, in good light, and the original photo rather than a screenshot. Square or upright photos fit best; wide photos are cropped to a square. Old prints work too: photograph them flat in daylight.

Can I add names and a year?

Yes, for free. Up to 24 characters, for example ‘The Carters 2026’, printed in blue along the bottom of the tile exactly as you type it.

Can I use a different photo on each tile?

Yes. Untick ‘Same photo on all tiles’ and add one photo, and one names line, for each tile.

How big is it?

6 x 6 in (about 15 x 15 cm): each side is about the length of a dollar bill. It’s a glossy white ceramic tile that stands on a shelf, mantel, desk or windowsill.

Does it come with a stand? Can I hang it?

Every tile comes with a small tabletop stand: two black plastic feet that hold the bottom corners. The back has no hanger, so it’s made to stand, not to hang.

Will it arrive by Christmas?

Order by Dec 7 for Christmas with standard US shipping, and approve your emailed preview by Dec 8: printing starts once you approve it. Printing usually takes 1-3 business days, then US delivery usually 3-7 business days.

Can you ship it straight to Grandma?

Yes. Enter her address at checkout. There are no prices inside the box. The tiles of one order travel together to one address, so for two homes, have the set sent to you and give them yourself, or place one order per address.

Is it hand-painted? Is it made in the Netherlands?

No. Your photo is redrawn in the classic Delft style by our design studio, then printed on glossy ceramic in the US. It is not hand-painted and not made in the Netherlands.

Can it go outside, in a bathroom or on a wall?

No. It’s a display piece for indoors, away from direct sunlight, which can fade the colors over time. It’s not made for walls, floors, wet areas, heat or food.

How is it packed?

In a plain protective box with no prices inside, ready for your own wrapping paper.

What do you do with my photo?

We use it only to make your preview and your tile, and we share it only with the services that make your preview and print your tile. We never sell it, and we never show it in ads or on our site without your written OK.
