THE GIFT PROBLEM

Another gift card. Another hoodie. Forgotten by January.

They already have the jersey, the ball and the cleats. Here’s how gifts for a sports fan usually go wrong, and what this one does instead.

  • It ends up in a drawer.

This one hangs on their wall, with their name and number lit up every evening.

  • The name comes out wrong.

You see the name and number on the preview as you type, and we make exactly what your preview and cart show.

  • It shows up after the big day.

You know the dispatch time up front: each mirror is made to order and usually dispatched within 5 to 8 business days. Shipping time comes on top, so for holiday gifts, order early.

TWO LOOKS IN ONE

A mirror by day. Their jersey at night.

  • Light off: the mirrored acrylic reflects the room, and the name and number show as a frosted etch.
  • Light on: LEDs behind the panel light up the name, the number, the outline and the ball, with a soft halo on the wall.

    Beautiful and very well packed

Beautiful. Since it's a gift, I didn't take off the paper or touch the remote; I just plugged it in to test it, and it works well. It came very well packed, and since it's a mirror, I was afraid it would arrive broken.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you order

How big is it?

11.8 x 13.8 inches (30 x 35 cm): a little wider than a regulation soccer ball, as in the size photo. Our photos show it lit in dim rooms, where the glow looks strongest; in daylight the glow is softer.

Is it real glass?

No. It’s mirrored acrylic, not glass. With the light off it works as a mirror; with the light on, the name, the number, the outline and the ball glow.

What can I personalize?

A name of up to 12 characters (letters A to Z, spaces, hyphens, apostrophes and periods; accents are left out, so Zoë becomes ZOE), etched in varsity capitals, and a number of 1 or 2 digits, from 0 to 99. Personal names only: no team names or logos.

How do I make sure the name is spelled right?

The preview shows the name and number as you type, and your cart lists exactly what we’ll make. We make exactly what your cart shows, so check the letters, the spaces and the number before checkout. If you spot a mistake right after ordering, contact us right away.

Can I order 2 or 3 with different names?

Yes. Choose 2 Mirrors or 3 Mirrors and fill in a name and a number for each one. Each mirror gets its own lettering, and both offers ship free in the US.

Can I change the color or dim it?

Yes. There’s nothing to pick at checkout: the included remote changes the color and turns the brightness up or down, from a soft glow to full light.

How is it powered?

The light runs on USB with the included cable, so it needs no battery. Plug it into a USB wall charger or a power strip with USB ports. The remote runs on a small battery: keep it away from young children.

How does it hang?

It mounts flat on the wall at the two points on its center line, top and bottom. For a secure hold, use screws rather than adhesive pads.

When will it ship? Will it make it for the holidays?

Each mirror is made to order. Orders are usually dispatched within 5 to 8 business days, then travel to you. We can’t promise a fixed delivery date, so for a holiday gift, order early.

Which sports are available?

The soccer jersey design, with a ball at the bottom. It’s a generic jersey with your name and number, with no team or league logos.

How much is shipping?

$3.99 in the US, and free on orders from $59.99, so 2 or 3 mirrors ship free.

What if it arrives damaged?

Contact us right away with a photo of the mirror and the packaging, and see our Refund policy and Shipping policy for the terms.
